The Winter Solstice is a time for reflection, personal growth, and change. My artwork, ‘Release,’ embodies cultural interactions and introspection, creating a unique environment where people let go of their negativities. This vulnerable act fosters an unspoken connection among individuals.

‘Release’ delves into understanding viewers’ personal feelings, with a focus on self-change. The swaying strings and shreds of paper create a peaceful ambiance, reminiscent of the calm reflection found in the growth of trees. By writing down and shredding their negative thoughts, participants engage in a transformative process. Walking through the curtain of shreds symbolizes a personal journey through vulnerability towards growth and renewal.
